M/H are probably hands down the best freeze dried chow I've the chili Mac is good but the beef stroganoff is the best out of all the different entries I've tried.... just my experience

The Arctic MREs are the best! Like you said, they're civilian mountain house meals and taste great compared to regular MREs.

Most people stationed in AK have jetboils for heating MREs and for waterbottles to warm up your sleeping bag before you head to bed lol

I might be wrong but, isn’t the sodium content higher in cold weather rations than the standard MREs And slightly higher calorie content?

i have always just bought freeze dried stuff because of how long it lasts and the basic ingredients. never even thought about the weight.
