On of my mates, Derek, owns a BSA c15 (250 cc), which he bought from James May. Super little bike. Derek owns several bikes, mostly classics, but that little BSA is his favourite. It has the legend”Captain Slow “ painted on both sides of the front mudguard, starts first time every time and its condition is a tribute to its previous owner. Derek has seen James May’s collection, and I can categorically confirm that this video is a complete load of bollocks!

Incredible to think James found any time to present shows and write books. It sounds like he spent all his time poking his nose into people's sheds and barns all over the UK and US, discovering numerous unique vehicles, usually with handwritten notes stashed inside panels documenting their history...

About the Ford GT MK III, it shows that Ford had quality cars, i myself have only a Granada coupé 3.0L V6 from early 70´s, not so fast but nice to drive Taunus ´69 RS1600

This is just pure fiction. The photos of the cars don't even match the descriptions, and James May owns none of these cars. He only owns about 4 or 5 cars and a small flock of motorcycles.
