I remember being a lefty because that's what my dad was and my mom was an independent. My neighbor said to me "you will change your mind once you get a real job and/or grow up"... he was correct.

I think I started somewhere in the middle because by age 13 Iwas working my butt off and by 16 had two small businesses and I understood a lot more than I should have for that age... either way hard work and dedication and military service after seeing what happened on Sept 11th first hand, I'm now retired early.... not by choice though (medical), but I still work very hard to instill independent and right side idealism into my children and show them what they could do with effort and hard work... Plus, helps when you stack silver after hearing through the mid and late 90s all the crap they have planned.... one in particular in 93 Nancy Pelosi had alot to say about "the new agenda"... it was then I knew the dollar was going to just go down and down as they inflate and print money.... for sure crazy times we live in

Ronald Regan in his younger years was a Democrat and a Hollywood labor organizer who lead the Screen Actors Guild in a five-week strike. Years later, when he was a Republican President, he told a story about a boy selling kittens. A sign on the box said "Democrat kittens, 50 cents". Later on, a person saw the boy with a sign that said "Republican kittens, one dollar". When asked about it the boy said, "Oh that's easy, they have their eyes open now.
