'Since I am feeding this cat, I am obligated to get him a house'. Now that is a man of honor.

You're a really sweet man. The house you made him was so kind

This man is an angel! To see how skinny he was and how u started feeding him he gained weight and his coat came shining through! People who say they are not cat people have never experienced the true love and bond cats can offer! I'm so glad him and his cat are now soul mates it's so obvious!

I'm a servant to a stray cat for 8 years now. The best thing that ever happened to me

"You never choose a cat. A cat chooses you."

Very true words.

"If at first you don't succeed try, try and try again."
I have to agree, Cinnabon chose his person.

At the beginning he wasn't a cat person, he was just a GOOD person. He took care of another living being. The cat eventually realized that he was safe and trusted him. He prolly wud've done that for a bunny or any other docile animal. That's an adorable video.

I still get teary-eyed watching this, seeing the moment Cinnabon is first "home, " even though I've been watching Lex & Cinnabon videos for years now.

"I am not a cat person. I feed him, built him a house that I insulated with blankets, pet him, and lure him into the house. But I am not a cat person!" XD <3

He was so skinny before, look at what a majestic chonk he is now!

It's crazy how he starts out real thin and then ended up becoming a big boy after he started getting fed. I'm glad

there's just a different bond when you nurture a stray, the process of gaining their trust is just so much more satisfying than simply buying or adopting.

Cinnabon is the king of the castle. They both have the cutest relationship now

"I'm not a cat person, and we're not keeping them."

-My dad, just a week before agreeing to keep an entire litter of bonded siblings

This makes me really miss Chester, a huge tom cat who just showed up at our rural house when my kids were little. He adopted us, would never come inside, but was very affectionate outdoors. He was territorial and a big time fighter, getting badly scratched up some nights. My wife would patch him up each time, and he would recover, and be just as lovable as ever. As ferocious as he was with other cats and with raccoons, he never scratched or bit anyone and allowed even small children to carry him around all over the yard. Greatest cat ever.

The view of the cat inside his little house, out there in the cold, but finally with his own little house - that was heart breaking/warming. It was so sweet. And watching the cat run around inside the house was so lovely. Lucky cat, lucky man. Both lovely.

I think cats and babies know who are the good people and who are the bad ones. Even if they are shy, keep pursuing them, and they will like you eventually (if you are a good person).

I too was a “not a cat person” until I rescued a large male short hair that became my pet of a lifetime. I had him for ten years and miss him to this day. I’ve had other cats, but I find that cats have such unique personalities - I’ve never known any two cats to have the same personality - that when you make that connection it is truly life changing.

I had a stray cat choose me..a black male cat. He was mostly an outdoor kitty, and a killing machine. Mice, chipmunks, rabbit, even chased a big hawk once. Til he got old and blind, then he was mostly indoor kitty but still went out to walk (blind) around his yard every day. He lived over 15 years and took a piece of my heart when he passed. ❤️ Best cat ever.
