Christoph Waltz, what a phenomenal actor.

The facade of gentlemanly behavior from Landa as he also pours his two prisoners a glass of wine though their hands are tied and can't drink with him is good writing.

“what shall the history books read” favorite line

I like how despite hating nazis with a passion, Aldo genuinely humors all of Landa's trivial inquiries like sayings and where he's from

Hans knew immediately that the war was over and Germanys third Reich was on its last legs, so he just agreed to go with the winning side in the end.

Hands cuffed/tied behind their backs...still serves them wine 😂

I love the nuance to this movie. At the very beginning Lando claims to take pride in being titled the “Jew Hunter” to the cow farmer because it is precisely what he does. Here he takes disgust in it and claims it’s just a “name that stuck”.

He’s like the Nazi German Joker. And I have to admit Christolph Waltz and Heath Ledger’s performances are stupid close

In truth, I was just here to find Christoph Waltz saying "that's a bingo".

The Only person in The Whole Of History to say : *_"Thats A Bingo"_*

This is an all-time under rated twist, because I don’t know about anyone else, but I did not see the movie taking this turn.

I could watch this scene a million times and never tire of it.

The exchange starting at 1:55 ending at "no, I guess not" kills me every time. That's so damn funny.

"Do you control the nicknames your enemies bestow upon you? 'Aldo the Apache and the Fire Guy'?"

QT understood this character so well that being unable to find anyone that fit what he was looking for he was less than 24hrs away from NEVER making this film. He gave himself up till the last day before the studios banked it and he would be forced make it.
So the night before he would pull the plug he called his producer and said "I cannot find this character anywhere" (Referring to the weeks and weeks of auditions) If i can't find him tomorrow, im not making this film"

That following morning Waltz walking in and the rest is HISTORY!

My god what an amazing movie from beginning to the end. Every one in the movie is perfect and the work to create it is top notch. This is definitely one of my top favorite movies and I will always watch it when it comes on the tv or movie channels. Bravo.

That look at 6:29 is great. The moment they realize he’s telling the truth.
