I’ve watched every single episode. Took me 2 years to watch every episode, and I started watching Gunsmoke 2 years ago. I’m 36, so Gunsmoke Is still bringing in new fans!

Me and my wife watch Gunsmoke everyday while eating supper and my mom and dad did the same until they both passaway and we share this with our son and grandsons to pass it on to do the same.

Watching reruns now. James Arness contacted me in 2009 when I advised him that I was one of his biggest Black fans since 1956 when we got our first television in South Carolina which had only one channel (of course we were only allowed to watch until 6:00pm and the adults watched until the station "signed off" at Midnight); but what fun it was to listen since it was a very, very small house.

So many people that doesn't have a final resting place! Unbelievable. But! Those cemeteries in LA are full of actors, Glad that you are documenting it. We grew up watching at the same time. I miss those actors of old!

Buck Taylor's dad is Dub Taylor, an actor. Ken Curtis was a member of "The Sons of the Pioneers", and former son-in law of John Ford, director. His ashes were spread on the prairie near his ranch in Fresno. (My sister worked for the animal doctor who took care of his dog). Supposedly, James Arness and John Wayne were friends, ; that's why Wayne gave the opening intro to Gunsmoke's first season.

Thanks for the photo of Dabbs Greer's final resting place. I met him on several occasions and he was a wonderful gentleman, as well as a fine actor.

Good old Gunsmoke. A family favorite on Monday nights (CBS) at 8:00 P.M. I remember it in the mid 60's onward. I would dress in my cowboy outfit, strap two six guns and a Marx Rifle that looked like a Winchester and sit on the floor and help Matt Dillon shoot bad guys. I can still hear my dad saying at the conclusion: "Ok cowboy, off to bed." I can even remember some of the episodes having sad endings and making me cry as a kid. Another great video Steve.
