To anyone reading this who has used emotional eating as a coping strategy and would like to change - I'd recommend looking into hypnotherapy. You can find hypnotherapy audios online about healthy eating (emotionally healthy eating rather than just veggies etc).
I use Marisa Peers hypno mp3s and they've been life changing for me. I only discovered them from someone commenting on a youtube video a couple of years ago, so I'm passing on the message.

Good luck to all those trying to heal. This is also a reminder to be kind to yourself and to not shame yourself for your coping strategies, you were only trying to survive ❤️

I am 60 and have gastro problems. I remember how much I ate. I probably have reduced my life expectancy. Well, they say the next life is better. Currently, I eat less. When you know better. Definitely, me as a teen. Eat until stuffed then all the tv as a 13 year old. Weep.
