I come from a WordPress background and I believe in the power of WordPress when it comes to build something quick and place in front of people as an MVP or Interactive Concept.

But as I work to restructure my freelance web design business, I am considering just coding websites that do not require a CMS with Astro and if the Client requires a CMS, then I will be using Headless WP and a bit of other Headless CMS platforms like Prismic and Storyblok.

Although I too relate to you when you say you feel restricted while using WordPress, I don't think I will follow your path. WordPress handles everything without asking me to write extra code for something that can put extra burden on a single man army. Sometimes, good to go with the flow to save time and efforts. Of course, personal choices. I appreciate your enthusiasm and ability. Great. 👍🏻👍🏻

Simon, I think you should have stayed with WordPress. Now you will spend more time to update your blog and make changes.
