Bic multi purpose candle lighter child lock disable

REALLY appreciate this. Bought two and, because of my arthritis, could not operate it. There is no child in the home so a safety lock wasn't required so I disabled it thanks to you.

Thank you! I'm at war this week against all child-proof, arthritic-proof, disabled-people-proof things. I survived to this age without bicycle helmets, seat belts, baby car seats, locked pill bottles, etc. -- only to be continuously frustrated by this annoying childproof stuff.

Thank you! Mine didn’t work, two pieces of plastic and a spring fell out and now gas is coming out when I hold it down ways bugger it, wonder what I did wrong.

Awesome! Whatever you do don't try and take it apart or try to pry the safety button all the way out, it is engineered to never break the lighter if you do.

I need to do this I just got one of these for my candles cuz I'm always burning my fingers with matches. It's so hard with the safety lock

Disaster- in trying to disable the lock I broke it! Not easy to operate with arthritic hands.😢
