Hey dude, if you want to upgrade your fps when trying to get the most, allocate more memory on the installation, enable “show fps” since opening f3 actually lowers your fps, and finally if you upgrade your processor, you will get more frames. The 13600k is okay for the 4080 but you will get way better performance with 13700-13900k or 7800x3d. Also play with optifine lol

Right the frames are legit identical my laptop 3070 with optifine right up until you put bsl on. Identical settings everywhere else and my laptop with 3070 matches this. Not really a fair test because it's optifine vs sodium with no extras but like this does not support my plan to get a PC.

Minecraft is an cpu based game, means for minecraft its more important to have an good processor instead of an graphics card, right here youre gpu (graphics card) cant rly use its power cause the cpu (processor) isnt good enough. Get an i7 14700k min to unleash the full potential of youre 4080 and ofc youre new cpu

All this was with 2gb of ram, if you allocated like 4-5gb of ram it would be a little better fps, great vid!

Yo dude i got a rtx 3050 4gb laptop it runs mc with shaders 200 only if my GPU is on Ultimate mode if you can change ur GPU mode put it to ultimate then u should be getting way way way more fps

nowadays it doesn't even run minecraft. I have no PC

a 1060 is gargantuous, i have a gtx 950 and run mc at a solid 100fps; if you were limited to 70 with a 1060 you were doing something wrong - couldve just installed sodium

Cpu bottlenecking gpu by 16.3% so maybe get a i7-14700kf

4080 with an i5 13600k; that cpu is probably slowing you down.
