It's not a scam if he asked for it, i get commissioned allot for small software projects and you simply give them what they ask for "Yes there is 10 different better options to do specificly what he requests" but that only drives up the price and potentially moves customers away or cancel orders.

I don't know much about building gaming PCs but I knew I needed an upgrade. I went to microcenter and bought an i9 12900k because it came in a bundle that included 32gb of ram and an asus prime z590 all for $400. Where as an i9 13th or 14th would be about $550-600. Just for the cpu! So I thought that this bundle was a good deal. High fps with no stuttering or tears AND on high to ultra settings on a 1440p monitor.

Long story short, I paired it with a 4070ti and it is a beast PC and I saved so much.

have same cpu and gpu and can't get proper performance. I'm using 2 pcie cables from psu, with one daisychain, so I'm getting a third cable to see if that helps
