Pollen traps are great tools I used 1 on my strong colony early on so that they wouldn't become pollen bound. Most common words of a beekeeper, "crazy bees, stupid smoker and where is my hive tool." I seen a video that took one of those round dehydrators that blows the air down with a thin cloth over the trays to dry it. Ty for sharing, Blessed Days...

I have a different style trap to use but it’s been raining here and supposed to all week. Hopefully it’ll dry up enough soon to collect some fall pollen! Thank you Gus!

I've never tried pollen trapping but would like to try next year. I run 4 way pallets. Is there a good trap that works with pallets? Or would I be better off setting up a yard with single bottom boards?

This is cool. Looks way more affordable than $100 Sundance traps. As nice as those are it would take a lot of pollen to pay them off. What size are the holes in that mesh?
