How to use the Mann Lake Superior Pollen Trap

The tube actually makes it to where the bees cant find the top entrance since the tubes are out and away from the box, so then the bees go in the bottom entrance. But the tube allows the bees to get out no problem.
So i would assume you wouldnt want to close off those holes because that may be the bees only way out aside from crawling back through the screens (some pollen traps have cones inside that allow the bees to exit without going through the screens. Im not sure this one has them because it seems like thats the purpose for the tubes.
With the tubes in the pollen trap is collecting pollen because the bees have to go tgrough the bottom entrance.
With the tubes out, the pollen trap is off and bees will go through the 4 holes at the top to avoid having to squeeze through the screens (although some bees may still choose to go through the bottom entrance).
Looks like a neat design.
I may have to get one to try it out.
