I think you are definitely downplaying yaura here.
Samus isn’t even that busted and spargo usually destroys other top samuses.
yaura just plays way too clean and imo he just played better this set

Yaura is arguably thebest samus in the world he just doesnt travel. Im pretty sure sisqui and quik said hes better

Big upset! Putting Spargo to losers put him through the gaulet but may have been the reason why Spargo won as it made him more focus and motivated thoughout that amazing losers run to beat one of his best matchups in Acola in Grands

I put Samus in top 15 for sure but mostly for her ledgeguard. She is surprisingly slow but strong for a high tier.

I don't think Samus is a top tier character. She has a lot of pretty tough match-ups and results are pretty abysmal (even though Yaura won against Sparg0 here, he didn't make top 8 while Sparg0 won the entire tournament). I do think Samus has a lot of potential to cause upsets, though. I'd rate her high midtier personally.

Seeing Sparg0 struggling, and lose against Samus confirms it definitely is one of Cloud’s most difficult match ups, and very frustrating to deal with. In fact it might be his worst match up. I honestly feel like you don’t even have to be that good with Samus against Cloud you can just spam projectiles, grab him when he gets close enough, and down throw into combos all day lol. Samus has more tools, and advantage to gimp Cloud more than any other character. You almost have to time, read, and space everything perfect otherwise one mistake cost a lot of damage, or a stock. You’re always forced to approach due to charge shot, and can’t camp either. I think it’s difficult match up for Link as well for the same reasons.
