As a guy who lives in japans Timezone and watched the whole tournament except a small part of top 8, I wanna point out that dabuz single-handedly stalled the entire tournament by like an hour because his games took so long (he fought like 3 snakes in a row) and it was freaking hilarious. He also played really well his spacing against riddles and hero playing the touch of deaths was immaculate.

I was rooting for either Sparg0 and Zackray to win Kagaribi 10. Happy with the result overall. I hope Zackrays redeems his spot as #1 soon. He was my inspiration for playing smash. Sparg0 was such a nice kid I met irl. He's a genuine person and I wish him nothing but sucess!

Japan plays corny characters and Sparg0's style + his character naturally counteracts that. Winning the tournament was just a matter of mindset and after he lost to Yaura I'm sure he was like "lmao what kind of rubbish is this" cuz afterwards dude was on fire.

Never seen Acola dismantled so hard, but it's exactly what I expected. One of Steve's only losing matchups and Sparg0 is just the better player imo.

Dabuz won 6 game 5’s to get 4th. The stress from all this games probably took 3 years off his life, but he was able to be the 2nd highest placing invader eventually getting eliminated by Spargo who got 1st.

the impressive thing is that sparg0 played miya yoshidora dabuz zackray and acola ´*2 and only dropped 3 games in all of these matches combined. Even though acola is rank 1 right now in terms of results there is a decent chance that sparg0 deserves 1st seed for bobc5 after winning major upset and kagaribi b2b. if sparg0 wins bobc as well there is a decent chance he might get 1st for the season but in every other case its acola.
