i need more ppl to start talking about steve's uptilt upsmash. I've been getting tight about this confirm for literal months and I see no one else even mention it 💀 uptilt being as good as it is and then leading into an upsmash that strong so nicely, and it working on so many characters is crazy man. that confirm works super well already on tall characters like sephiroth and I thought it was mostly powerful against characters tall like that, but even on smaller ones likw G&W its super solid.

Miya dies in two interactions pretty consistently throughout this set. His only chance is to overwhelm acola with so much offense that he never gets a chance to play the game. But when you're dealing with acola playing so confident that he can dodge everything to steal the kill (like at 5:59 or 12:46), and when he's surviving on every single stock to 150% at least, it's no wonder Miya struggled so much. I don't think I've ever seen acola play this hot before.

The fact that Miya won despite all that is insane.
