Here is a quick "How to" video on how to disassemble, clean, repair, and rebuild an ATV Winch. Not all winches are the same, however they are very similar. This to do guide will assist the Average Joe or Average Jane in reviving what was once thought to be a dead weight winch, into a usable "save the day" winch. Disclaimer: I am not a professional. If you choose to do a project yourself, please use safety goggles, gloves, and other PPE. Potential damage caused to your items as a result of you or your family or friends attempting repairs is the sole responsibility of you the viewer. Also, ensure that your winch is not under a manufacturers warranty prior to disassembling it. You may void the warranty if you start removing bolts, etc... Enjoy.
