AQA Core 1 5.04e Sketching a Cubic with a Repeated Root

Let’s imagine that the second bracket was (-x+5)^2 would this render the cubic to start from the top left or bottom left, would you recommend that I expand it out? Also when would a line be reflected on the x-axis?

Sir, why doesn't the curve go through (-5, 0) and touch (-3, 0) instead?
