I'm super pleased with this video. It explained not only **how** transformers work, but included the reasoning behind their design. I watched a similar video from FreeScienceLessons (don't get me wrong, I use that resource all the time!) but it didn't go in-depth as this one, I was asking the whole time **why** is it like that and what are the benefits of a transformer being like that. This gave me a better understanding, thank you.

wow!... my book says a whole different equation to find the number of turns in the 2ndary coil even when the number of turns in the primary is given (when in fact its just half of the primary!)... this video opened my eyes!. too bad how our school system so badly wants us to fail by studying very complicating stuff in their textbooks while these videos exists!...
