Someone: *hops over a fence*
MBTI community: Wouldn't that make you an Se dom?!

College professor: *Gives 3 hour lecture on the Value of Se*
INXP'S: "Sorry, did you say something?"

If we rebranded extraverted sensing as "practical mindfulness" suddenly the whole internet community would want it. But that's basically what it is for me: accepting the world as it is and working with what you have to make the world a little happier. Sincerely, ESTP.

As an INFJ, i always plan ahead. Even the most stupidest things, i know that i really don't have to do that but i still do it anyway because otherwise i can't stop thinking about it. Or else i won't be able or don't want to talk to people, i need to plan it out of my head first. It is hard to always think about the future and not live in the moment. Good video tho!

Sidenote reminder that INxJs *want* to be good at Se. Like, really really. They just... don't really want it running the show unsupervised... 😂

I recently discovered I'm actually an ISTP, not an INTP. Been mistyped for over a year, everything makes so much sense now lmao

The biggest misconception is that Se has no imagination.

Se for me personally (am an ISFP) is like either a utility box and a comrade that's always got my back and reminding me to snap out of it whenever I spend time in the head in an unhealthy way.

Fi is like Han Solo
Se is like Chewie

Ah. My blind spot.

Although, at times I can fake it somewhat convincingly, most of the time I'm just like "where's my phone" while I hold it in my hand.

INFJ here, I've also noticed that I'll sometimes indulge Se when I'm stressed or tired enough.
Like if the Ni isn't helping to get me out and my brain is being mean to me, I'll watch a movie a loud action movie While eating a ton of ice cream and using a back massager.
Just anything to make me focus on Se instead.
This isn't always done in stressed situations, but I feel like i have a love/hate relationship to it. And I'll feel almost "bad" if I've binged too much Se.
Maybe other infj's or intjs relate?

ENFJ here and can confirm the tendency to overindulge in Se. It’s food for me. I use it as a coping mechanism. I’m working on it a bit more after unlocking my Ti.

As an esfp, I endorse your description of our inferior Ni. I often get this obsessive feeling of a mission or calling as a way to stop the Ni from getting in the way of my impulses. Like you said, i simplify it. By doing so, I subconsciously try to eliminate the need to be controlled by these thoughts.

“Minimizing the distance between action and outcome.” I felt that.

Very good and accurate explanation. It’s interesting what you said about certain types being able to blurry the lines between
Se and Ni. I find myself going back and forth like that a lot (isfp)

This is how I describe the difference between me (ESFP) vs my ISFP and ISTP siblings and father. I am like a Gibbons. Yes I’m agile and physical but I make a hell of a lot of noise and subtly isn’t my strong suit. I also use my Se so much that it can get me hurt a lot or make dumb decisions with it 😂.
My brothers and father are like the stealthy jungle cats. You don’t expect them to do something physical suddenly but when their Se comes out, they are way more quiet, way more smooth, and a lot more agile than I am. I think with it being in their second slot, it is much more purposeful than it is in me as it just happens continuously and without reservation.

oh shi. here we go again. its time to feel better about myself by Nathan tell some nice things about Se users)
(actually thank you. often feel like i have this "superpowers" but nobody need them. and you know what is it to ESTP to not be needed..)

A common refrain from my INTJ when feeling overwhelmed is "I feel really disorganized". Then takes some space to get "organised' and is back on top again. So cute!😚

Fun fact: Isfps and istps have ne blindness, which can often make them fear unpredictable potentialities that they cant account for comfortably with ni. So it is in fact isfps and istps that suffer the intj infj analysis paralysis stereotype.
This can make them reckless, or overly cautious. It really depends on the type of istp/isfp they are.

If motivated enough. ISTP would take over the world.

I have left a similar comment in another video of yours (on INFJs). I don't think there is any natural way of life per se. Taken to an extreme, the Se way of life can be hedonistic and even irresponsible. "A nation is born stoic but dies epicurean". As an INTJ one simple way Ni-Se works for me is when I decide to purchase an audiophile DAC or iem. I calculate how long the product will last, how many use case scenarios this device has, how much other necessary purchases I will have to make throughout the year and the budget I has, is the purchase a valuable addition to my music listening experience (Se) or merely an indulgence and so on. Usually these calculations make me truly understand the value of a particular device and also help me keep a tight hold on my budget.

In fact, these calculations are not really abstract or anything. Just practical with a long term perspective (Ni-Te).
