ISTJs definitely are workaholics. Although they also need their alone time. My Dad's an ISTJ and he either is working or wants to be left alone.

My mother is an ISTJ, and she definitely acts like this, but at the same time she also listen to other people's problems and find a solution to fix it

Since she's a manager at her work, she said to me that it is her responsibility to make sure her subordinates are doing their job as well (even her bosses say that she is one of the most diligent workers)

My mom's an ISTJ. She was like a machine back when she was young. She follows a routine from morning to night. Like damn, never saw her do nothing except when sleeping or when sick.

My dad's one, and they really don't fool around. They're warm and hard working for sure. Just don't expect them to be deeply interested in you as a person or that they will ever open up about their dreams or emotions. Heck, I'm an ENTJ and he's way too closed down even for me 😂

I’m an ENFP and when I met my boyfriend I didn’t know he was an ISTJ. He opened up like crazy about his emotions and I thought it was normal since me, my friends, and family do that casually. Took it for granted at first and when he reverted out of the honeymoon phase communication of emotions became difficult and I thought I did something wrong. Turns out he’s just an ISTJ. Definitely won’t be taking his warmth, hard work, and openness for granted ever again!
