Loved this episode ❤❤❤ Grief is also a huge sleep disturbance yet it’s something one has to walk through and try to also get counseling to conquer both the grief/anxiety and the insomnia that is its side effect.

This lady was the best and did not push melatonin as it is not something that should be taken every night or even very often, same with cbd. My hats off to her for not pushing estrogen, melatonin and cbd without consulting a doctor. Some people just throw that stuff out there for their own agenda. Very responsible person.

I would love to see a podcast concerning family estrangement. It is affecting so many people and dealing with it is heartbreaking.

Taking Magnesium before going to bed was recommended by Liz Earle and it REALLY works.

Oooh can I relate! I own my own business and work whenever anyone needs me (including weekends). This past weekend a lightbulb moment…..I can say I DON’T work weekends. It took exhaustion to make that decision. Thanks ❤

I relate to the idea of equating too much sleep with being lazy.
I have animals and people and projects and goals and gardens to tend to...big caretaker here. I feel like the Energizer bunny !
Recently it dawned on me that I will be able to do a so much better job if I include myself in the caretaking. Aha ! 🙂
I have always been able to get by without fussing about myself too much...yet this is a different season of life. Self care + living with insight from experience.
And as an intuitive introvert person I am finally realizing, too, that all the wonderful right brain intuitive insights that I count on, will happen more frequently IF I allow myself to 'dial down' every evening. If I honor the sacredness of my life and my relationship to it's rhythms...instead of trying to superimpose my own go-go-go pace on my life.

Dominique you look so beautiful ! I love love love your makeup❤️. This is a great subject as I’m good if I get 6 hours of sleep post menopausal early 70’s. Who knew it would last this long? Thank you for this.

Nothing worked for me until I gave up ALL caffeine: in the morning, in the afternoon, or any other time. Zero caffeine, took me 5 days to get it out of my system, I am so so glad I did it. Used to take me 1-2 hours to fall asleep every night, I would wake up late every morning. Now takes me 5 minutes, and I wake up at 6:30 AM every day without an alarm.

Thank you for just the awareness because I definitely suffer from lack of sleep Wake up every morning at 4:30 and can't get back to sleep and it's very disturbing because I work full time so I know it's affected my outlook on workouts and work in general. I'm going to initiate some of these ideas immediately!! Blessings

Thank you for podcasting this topic. Would love more videos on sleep and the health issues caused by lack of it. I heard Alzheimer’s in there too which is a topic that terrifies me but something I’d like to know more about. Blew me away that catching up on sleep won’t fix the damage caused by lack of it. Thank you again ❤
