One thing about Arab culture is that hospitality is top tier. I'm Moroccan, and we're like that too. Very welcoming to foreigners, and always down to help and introduce them to our culture. My mom runs a bistro, and she's always giving away free food that isn't even on the menu to foreign tourists because she considers that to be her hospitable duty. Food is how we show affection and love.
