I've already gone through a lot of videos about Obsidian and its various features, plugins, etc. But your channel is definitely the best I've discovered. I'm French and not very good at English, but subtitles help me a lot (I should start learning this language which I really like and which has become almost essential, but hey...). I really wanted to leave this comment because, once again, your channel is really great. So, thank you very much for the work you do.

Excellent and thorough video!
One use I've found for labels is to group tasks by labels on Today page... Labels like "do" "read" "watch" "plan" "delegate" etc

A quick tip in filters you can add query "priority 1 | priority 2 | priority 3" and switch to kanban board and group with priority
that will show all the tasks separated by priority in one filter

Love how simply you've broken this down! I have tried to use Todoist many times in the past but get overwhelmed by all the possibilities and usage so I just end up trashing it altogether but I think simplifying the process will actually make me want to use it

Hello! Some other advanced todo's advanced users also states that the use of labels produces a level of friction that might increase your time managing tasks. The extreme case is Notion, where you can spend most of your time defining parameters rather than 'doing' the tasks.

Sergio, this was great! I'm getting back to using Todoist and like how you're using it. Thanks for creating a great video for your viewers.

Very informational. I might switch from tasks to todoist.

Few questions:

1. What happens to unfinished tasks?
2. Can I share my tasks with my spouse?
3. Do completed tasks stay organized under dates they were scheduled or completed upon?
4. How long do tasks stay in archive after completion (i make monthly reports for my work. It would be good to have them archived)

I use Habit Loop Tracker for every habit (inbox zero and weekly journaling)
For Todoist, i use it for every task with a single expiration date

Great video Sergio. So much better than the complex ones I've seen like those from Carl Pullein.
One other integration you forgot that is great is the Obsidian sync - I find it great to have a a page in the Obsidian side panel with my filter search there

I've just got Todoist after trying to manage my life in ClickUp (and Notion before that).

Thank you for the video. I appreciate the more simplified approach. I found ClickUp was great but really a Desktop first experience. And for tasks, I needed something more lightweight. I'll still use ClickUp for large projects and content creation though.

Sergio, thanks so much for this excellent video. I think I have ADHD and need something like this. I've be trying out LunaTask and just started messing with Todoist, although am still on the fence. But your video has helped a lot, especially the practical side - how you use it, what and why. Very valuable stuff. Thanks again - Roger

Simple system to work with - that's great! Helps to do more, as mind doesn't need to spend precious resources on complex management.

No reminder alerts/notifications in free version is show stopper for me. Great video though!

The free version of Todoist unfortunately does not have reminders, limits to 5 projects (be they top-level or subprojects), and only 300 active tasks per project.

Users in the Office 365 ecosystem may want to explore Microsoft To Do rather, which is free. It has reminders, subtasks, recurrence, unlimited 'projects' and 'subprojects' (in the form of groups and lists), subtasks, as well as some natural language processing of task due dates and times
