Thanks for uploading this. Skyrim is one of my favorite games ever. My character is a mage but I don't use destruction that much cause I like the rapid fire of the novice spells compared to charging up a spell and missing. I liked this video.

The problem is that as you gain more levels, you start running into more powerful enemies, whereas your spell damage doesn't scale at all once you have all the spells and associated perks. One thing you could do is level up Alchemy. With Alchemy you can make Potions that make your Destruction spells do up to 162% more damage for 60 seconds, which you can make with Glowing Mushroom and Nightshade, both of which can be grown at your Garden or Greenhouse if you have Hearthfire.

@bostjan3000 I'm pretty sure it's in the video. :p Magicka cost is halved because i use Expert Destruction perk (if i got the perk name right).

@dj117100 It's in Destruction tree, for each spell difficulty there is one. For example: perk Expert Destruction halves your magicka cost of expert spells.

@NinjaaMonkeey Fire spells in general. Many enemies have frost resistance and lightning spells cost most magicka. Fire spells are cheapest. But you need to change spells nonetheless, sometimes to slow down enemies, or drain their magicka.

My wall spells just dont work, i spray them on the ground or over stuff and it just doesn't appear, anyone know why?

@Flebkh I think dual cast fireball is stronger than 2 normal fireballs. But it also costs more magicka in total.

i understand what your saying 100% and i am 1 of the people who enjoy a hard challenge, i was just saying there is no point in arguing because we are all different, we all enjoy games at certain difficulties, but there's no point saying someone sucks for playing on easy or normal because we all bought the game and we will all play it how we want, so its just dumb and irrelevant to argue about it

From what I've done, I think the only weak point on the ash spawn in the glowing heart stone core (red area) in their chest. With my archer character, I always got a critical when an arrow was shot there, so I'd assume it's the same with Incinerate and Thunderbolt. Hope that helps you out.

@luker3l3 There are more types of bears, this is cave bear which is stronger than normal bear.
Also as darnell168 said, i don't have any perks to improve spell damage.
And as last most important thing, i play on Expert.

you're casting expert level spells with duel cast and it takes you more than 3 hits to kill a cave Bear....WTF
