Of, if you've planned ahead of time and designed an Alteration/Destruction mage:
1: Pop Ethereal
2: Collect the enemy into a nice tight bunch.
3: Pop Area Paralyse.
4: Pop Fire Storm.
5: Repeat 4 if need be.

i was so disappointed with how completely useless the master destruction spells were... long ass casting time, can't move while casting and the dmg isn't even worth it. In the time you need to cast one master spell you could chust chuck a few ice spears and get more dmg. You can even move around while doing so.

Master spells half off+ Archmage robes makes it cost just about 400. Doesn't really matter though, even with lots of buffing it's still the least effective of the Master Destruction Spells

This spell is awesome with invisibillity you just go invisible sneak up on a group and start casting

Too many people moaning that the master spells are useless without doing what mages are famous for - thinking.

I'm way ahead of you. I have an Archmage with 100 on all schools of magic :D
1. Do what you said
2. Summon 2 Dremora Lords
3. Switch to dual Incinerate or Thunderbolt
4. FINISH THEM!

I Used to be firmly in the category that this spell used to be shit... HOWEVER when I combined this with dragonhide spell and become etheral... this spell did some real efficient damage on close range enemies. It made my mage playthrough more fun and viable. Now BLIZZARD... that spell IS worthless.
