About 16 years ago I went to a 1/4 mile track in Maryland and saw a guy pull up to the tree in a wood paneled station wagon like this. Old guy with a grey beard and white Bell racing helmet. He goes up against some Camero with slicks. Everyone is laughing in the stands including the announcer. The weren't laughing when guy made a run. Everyone was on their feet loosing their shit. Guy ran a mid 11 in a station wagon! No one was laughing on his way back to the lanes.

One car that is especially sleepy is the Audi RS7. More specifically the C7s. Those things can go toe-to-toe with hellcats.

Wow, I had the same exact car and I put a half a million miles on it. Not all of it was me cause it had 60k when I first bought it and I wanted to make a sleeper out of it but that 3.8 V6 ran to good and I never done it. I paid 1900 for it and after putting all those miles on it I let it go for 500 and it still ran lol...I gotta recall for the transmission when I 1st got it, after they installed the new trans I kept the car up and put 100, 000 miles a year on it by keeping oil changes and normal maintenance upon it...I'm thinking that's what it goin and goin...I've looked everywhere for another one although I know it wouldn't be like the car I had was but I still have that V8 swap in mind but ain't nomore of em left in my area...Cool ride and it just blew my mind seein that one. I found 1 of maybe 15yrs ago and somebody put a mustang front clip on it lol, I passed on it cause I wanted the full LTD instead of the way they did the only 1 I've seen for quite a few years...
