2018 M550i owner here, got it three years ago with 22k miles, in the first four months i went full stage 2+ pump 93 im right around 740hptq and ive been running that since. absolutely no issues other than a guibo and maintenance. these aren’t those gen 1 N63’s man. gen 2’s and up are pretty much sorted 100%. this cars my daily lol

Why do people think these things are just gonna explode? They’re way overbuilt. The engine internals are great, it’s everything around it that sucks, like turbos, pcv systems, coil packs, direct injectors, plastic radiators, etc.

F Series N63TU's running well into the 10s on unprepped surface with e30 tunes and downpipes. Reliably. The n63tu3 m550s are dipping into the 9s on stock tuebos.

i think i can do this and still have a reliable car for years to come. i don't go full throttle all the time but it's just great knowing i have the power. a swift overtake and lane switch every now and then is all i need.

Don’t forget to do a muffler delete since mufflers also stop a lil bit the exhaust flow and also a tcu tune to make the shifts crazy fast and be able to launch like a Porsche with 6000 rpms launchs

You can also do it to 540-550 hp and be still pretty reliable. Sadly not avaible in EU countries due to downpipe being illegal
