You’re cranking the hell out of a high shelf but that’s boosting all the high frequencies …. Most of the time you want to send the vocal to a bus and add saturation. That harmonic distortion will make the high end crispy. This enormous high shelf is just boosting unwanted artifacts along with the high end you want

First mistake I made starting off was bringing the low cut all the way up to 250🤦🏾‍♂️ cut all the bass out my voice😂

Ain’t using it anymore. There are better eqs on the market. Kirchhoff for example..
