Everybody have intrusive and negative thoughts but the difference between anxious people and other people is that anxious people believe everything their mind tells them. That's what I used to do until I discovered CBT

I’ve been having these issues for decades to little relief. I’m trying everything and still haven’t been able to get a handle on it. It is torture . Esp after Covid my mind is in constant rumination and with comorbid nervous system dysregulation. I can barely focus, it’s hell and getting a good job let alone an ERP therapist that takes my insurance or is affordable is next to impossible.
