It seems in Karnataka Anti incumbency factor didn't worked as it was expected
But Political Islam worked successfully
Political Islam asks all Muslims to Vote only for a party that give most priority to appease Muslims [As Astram Gaffoor MES Kerala explained in a SDPI/PFI meeting]
So Muslims rejected JDS and preferred to vote only Congress candidates
Actually Vote share of BJP remains the same in 2018 and 2023
Vote share of BJP was 36% in 2018 and now also in 2023 it is 36%
Loss in Vote share of JDS caused Win of Congress in this election Karnataka 2023
For JDS vote share was 18% in 2018 and now in 2023 it is 13%
Thus Congress increased its Vote share and got majority in in the result
For Congress vote share was 38% in 2018 and now in 2023 it is 43%
Exactly JDS lost 5% of votes and Congress increased 5% of votes
