KEF emits more rounded and separated notes in the mid and lows. With headphones, the brightness of the ELACs shines through a bit too much. Would be happy with either; great demo!

Elac! More air, definition, middle tones separation from bass, more detailed highes! No boomy sounding bass!

Difficult to compare, the listening position is different. Both nice speakers!

KEF sounds congested and Elac much more open. Difficult to tell though from a YouTube Clip...

if you like to listen voice choose elac becuase using ribbon twister . if you want to listen bass choose kef

So i'm not a musician nor a physicist. And maybe i'm wrong. But i really doubt the fact that it makes any sense to record sounds from speakers standing in a room - have to compile and compress the sounds (at least once) through youtube - and now i'm sitting here with headphones on my head and hear what? Not the real sound - definitely not. But hey...thanks for the work anyway. :)

The recording is of such poor quality, it's hard to hear the Elac's shine. I have personally heard both of these speakers in person. The KEF do produce more low end, but they cannot touch the Elac high end.

Elac. On nice headphones KEF's bass is awful compared to the Elac. Also rly bad midrange compared against the Elac. Definition is a lot better on Elac again.
