Im greek and my yiayia would make lentils with olive oil and vinegar. I developed a love for oil and vinegar because of this. Whenever i eat baked beans, i just open the can and pour oil and vinegar in it then eat it cold

Not Italian but every summer id spend 2 weeks with my grandparents and my Nana would always have me in the kitchen cooking with her. She passed away last year so this really hits in the feels.
