One of my favorite mcartney albums my dad gave his viynl copy to me:) and I just saw Paul in concert on Tuesday this week at Hershey Pennsylvania:)

Great review, worth the wait. Really enjoyed it, and thanks for the shout out :-). I have the same records as you, minus a foreign copy, but I do have the Coming Up single with the picture sleeve, but the A-side label is missing. I also have Temporary Secretary in the picture sleeve, and I have the Lost McCartney Album bootleg which is even crazier than the official album but I love it just as you do haha.

This is one of the first McCartney albums I ever experienced.
It's such a trip of an album...

Love this album. Ranks in my top five of McCartney solo releases. Strange album too Paul being, up to that time at least, the Beatle most conscious of commercial appeal. This album is anything but commercial excepting "Waterfalls" and the bonus 45 with the live version of "Coming Up."
Great stuff though. I even love "Temporary Secretary" though totally get why it drives most people nuts. Good review.

This album came out in 1980 when I was in High School.  The Columbia version, released in the U.S., had a promo single by Columbia which featured the live version of "Coming Up".  When I was lucky to find the Japanese version, on EMI/Odeon, it also came with the same promo single on the Columbia label.

Japan also released "Once Upon A Long Ago" VCD, it contained 4 songs on which you can play on your laser disc and watch the film, or play the music on your CD player.  On U.S. DVD player, you can only hear the music, but the video portion would not work.  Lost out on some relationships, due to my record collecting.  Also, lost a Dylan bootleg, to a friend who moved and didn't tell me he was moving.  His Father was in the Navy (not sure if he knew?).
