Honestly as a Unity user I'm really worried for It's future. Unreal is really raizing havoc with metahuman, lumen, Nanite and and all. Meanwhile Unity hasn't done anything really impressive since 2020 and has nothing to compete with. Even the Ziva Unity has recently announced is extremely expensive to get, especially talking about a platform many users are indie developers with little budget to work with as opposed to Unreal's more AAA oriented focus

People are forgetting that unreal was released in 1999 and unity was released in 2005. So stop complaining about unity having to catch up, they are working at their fastest and have done fairly well.

Unity still missing core features… where is auto save ? Dots ? Editor still has the incredibly persistent bugs since 2021 …

Using Unity for VR only and not really impressed. VR in UE5 is not really as fast as in UE4, but still better than Unity. And where is Dots
