It's still Sézane, but not quite as we knew it.

I'm so happy you're encouraging people to go vintage or second hand!! I find it actually fairly easy to find good compositions on sweaters and jackets that are a few years old. I'm also passing on everything in this lookbook. The bodysuit would have been a maybe if cost less. I can find 100% cotton bodysuits for far less than $185CAD.

I bought the burgundy trousers because of your recommendation and I love them! And they are not itchy at all, exactly like you said. Thanks for your informative videos

I really appreciate your itch rating and your honest reviews! Thank you! ❤ The first time I purchased Sezanne, I was so disappointed in the feel of so many of their knitted items, and I thought it was just me.

Yak wool is supposed to be very similar to merino! But it's even more antimicrobial, warmer, softer, lighter, and slightly more expensive. I want to try Sezane's yak wool but waiting for a more interesting style

I used to love sezane for their vintage and boho style. But nowadays, I feel like they're becoming more and more like fast fashion, with cheaper materials and simple designs :( I'm a little turned off and am more attracted to other brands (like Sea NY and Dôen on the second hand market).

BTW, thank you for yor great content :D Always appreciate it !

This is so helpful for people to not waste their money and also create more waste when these items don't work out. Thank you x

As a knitter, I can say that the itchiness of mohair WIDELY varies. You can find a few mohairs that actually soften and make wool/merino more long lasting. I have the gaspard and another sweater from Sezane in mohair and the mohair they choose is definitely on the itchier side if you are sensitive.

That's quite an interesting direction you're going indeed 😊 I agree with you on the compositions though I recently made a couple of compromises - like that Sama jumper in yellow screamed my name and surprisingly it's not itchy!
But generally speaking, I think I got to a point where I own all I need so, unless something really catches my heart, I would be more mindful on buying (and agree, always better to check Vinted, got incredible deals!).

I wish Sezane would do the knitted dresses more like knee length.

I passed on everything because I've been very mindful in the past 3 years what I add to my wardrobe.Currently only item on my wishlist is one of the Smythe blazers which I'm saving to get for myself.

Mamie = Granny in French Main = Hand, les mains de mamie are a bunch of grannies from Marseilles in the south of france, who really do hand knit and market jumpers and stuff, that really do look as if your talented & crafty gran knitted it especially for you. P.S I love your reviews, thanks.

I have a really beautiful yak wool sweater (in burgundy❤️) it’s quite dressy and nice for staying warm during winter get togethers or events but it’s not a full day wear for me. If I bought another yak piece it would be a cardigan or vest, something that wasn’t next to skin.

I have many sweaters from Sezane and love the ones with more knitting patters on them. This year there was only the Andina cardigan which was in the style I was hoping for, but in the wrong colours for me. So I have only added the Othello cardigan in the smokey blue this year and hold on for more exciting knits and hopefully some cashmere pieces! I am wearing an Everlane cashmere jumper right now and nothing feels more comfortable than cashmere!

I have one of the yak wool jumpers and it’s extremely soft and comfy :) really recommend it!!

I avoid synthetical fibers like the plague, so I get you. Bad for the environment, I sweat more easily in them, their look decline lot faster than natural fibers ones, itchy and frankly at Sezane's price points I refuse to buy anything less than full natural, I can go to other places then. It's just not worth it. Especially bc I only want to invest in pieces that I can keep for many years.

I love the Calixte coat, it's almost $1000 here though 😭I'm curious to see Sami + Naelle in real life too, also unsure about what the color looks like.. every Sezane burgundy is a different shade! lol I am excited about this new collection!! Great video, Katie! As always ♥

I have the Lauren in yak wool and I love it. It's definitely soft, but not too soft if that makes sense. I"m not worried that it's going to just wear away or pill on me. Recommend the yak wool but I am one of those who cannot wear cropped jumpers so am sadly going to have to skip most of their other yak wool pieces. I did go for the Adel in navy but I like the wide sleeves so have high hopes for it. I do wish the "surprise gift" totes were optional though. That's something I appreciate about Lilysilk - you can opt out of their little freebies if you don't want them.

Love this walk through. It really helped me browse with more clarity. The vintage blue coat is stunning.

I agree with your reviews of the fabric composition wholeheartedly. Thank you so much! On Sunday I ordered the navy Adel Jumper and I think I purchased the last one in stock in my size. 😅Hope the bell sleeves aren’t too wide as you say.
