I put together a list of my favorite 15 books on business, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I've broken the books into three sections, the fundamentals of business, people and values and lastly business negotiations.

I've also included three bonus books that I'm currently reading if you watch through to the end.

I'm including Amazon affiliate here for your convenience. The first set of books is foundational and provides the basic framework for thinking about business and startups:

The second bucket is once you’ve gotten started. These books provide a basis for growth and change across an organization:

These two books are on metrics:

The next set of five books are on operations and more specifically the people aspects of running a business:

Last bucket on negotiation and marketing:

And lastly... the one more thing bonus of three books I'm reading now.

I love the moment of silence for Tony Hsieh, he was such a wonderful person and added so much value to our community in Las Vegas and we will always remember him ❤️

Excellent list. Many “classics” in there. I would also include Venture Deals by Brad Feld and Jason Mendelson. It’s a great primer on raising money. It spends considerable space discussing the Term Sheet, as it should.

Great list of books! Added some to my list.

I’d recommend you to check out the following books for PT 2 of this video:

The 48 laws of power - Robert Greene, teaches a lot about human nature and our dark side, helps you out to better understand yourself and measure risk in other people you’re working with and find out about their real intentions.

Mindset - Carol S. Dweck, a great books that helps to change the way we normally process issues and daily situations, shaping our mind for success and for constant growth, with great analogies in business, sport, relations and how our mindset changes as we grow old and get influenced by society.

Your Next Five Moves - Patrick Bet-David, a great book when you’re starting a business, that teaches you how to think like a master entrepreneur based on chess. Master chess players think ahead of their next 15 moves.
