You do know Samsung and LG were sponsors at the shootout, as in physically present. Yes Sony are ridiculous and arrogant specially with the 2.1 ports but then no one was complaining when LG won the king of TV for 5 years in the lead up to 2018. I do think sony are playing catch up in the TV area specially gaming. Just stating some facts. Looking forward to your thoughts on the A95L

I’ve been hearing that the S95C is better for gaming while the A95L is a better cinematic tv. It makes sense considering the features you mentioned Sony lacks are the kind of features that particularly enhance gaming but I’d like to hear your take on that

I guess my eyes are lying to me because I've seen the A95L, S95C, and G3 and the A95L is a better picture. Sony's problem is the bloated price for similar features compared to LG and Samsung.

I don’t think so, I’ve had all these top OLEDS the last few years and without doubt I’ve chosen Sony myself, they are top in visuals, hands down. Value yeah S95C might take it

I dont usually comment, but its true most of the things You said. They are selling tvs for the ridiculous prices and performing equal if not worse to the other tvs. Only thing that I think theyre doing better is upscaling that other tvs dont have or it is not as good unfortunately.

It's simple. Value and features are not part of the equation. Not that hard to figure out. I also like how you completely ignore that the shootout uses out of the box picture, and Sony televisions are known for being practically pre-calibrated out of the box.

Oh, and another thing, I am not writing any of this down, my voice transcriber is just reading, certain things, wrong, and other people down in the comments who think they want to justify an outdated TV like the Sony, come on you guys we all know it’s been set up, why do it so late in the year it’s already October, they usually do it in July, but all the little wannabe Hollywood, except Q-tips had to honor their little contracts. They have with Sony in the industry, it’s almost like a Sony fundraiser in a way, they know how much they lost this year from TCL and Hyson and they need to make it back somehow, no matter how they do it, not saying the Sony TV wasn’t a good TV, it is, but two little too late it showed up, and even if it did show up on time Samsung SC 95, well, let’s just face it completely different HDR, it actually makes people see a huge difference in this HDR Field, not many TVs can do that, or any TVs, Samsung, hands-down, and another thing people are forgetting low content is rare now, 10 ADP has become the standard for the past three years, football games, boxing, and other sports are shown in full HD now, I haven’t seen a 720 I/P, or 480 high/P cents maybe old shows on Peacock or Max but it is what it is I guess they don’t look any better on the Sony, at least not $1000 better

I love the G3 and the S95C but will eventually (not buying now) pay the premium for 2 reasons. 1) The Sony TV will last longer than those brands. It's never discussed in reviews but is relevant to buying decisions. 2) Sony processing is better on non-4K/pristine content that requires upscaling -- note this is the ONLY reason it won the shootout. I am not a gamer so the superior gaming on the G3/S95C means nothing to me.

Sony A95L is definitely the best. Anyone who can afford the G3 or S95C can pony up a few more bucks and get the A95L. Get it and be set for the next 5 years.

OK, this is a breakdown of what’s been going on with this supposed shootout for the past 45 years, Sony has always been known for its low content upscaling, why should that be any different now, if anything, Sony had come in too late and technically should’ve been excluded, but they pay their millions upon millions that people give to them every year for their outdated TVs, but the truth is they have to promote Sony, because they fallen so far, and Sony has made this value electronics, their personal sponsor, and these Youtubers, Brian and FOMO, I’m sure they mean well, but they’re a big part of the problem, Samsung should have one hands-down, the S, 95C is the most advanced TV out there today, gaming features, and even though OS is smoother, the biased on how they test their TVs Will always be toured Sony, like I said, streaming has always been there strong point for up, scaled low and content, we’re not looking for that anymore. We’re looking for the best of the best, something that they can give us new picture, the 95 from Samsung this year was that TV, is that TV, and TCL should invest in processing input The, sleeping Hawaiian, who has no longer the fire in their eyes out of its misery, Sony, the sleeping lion 7:06

The only thing that Sony did better is be more consistent in most areas lg took first in some Samsung took first in another what pushed it above the others this year is xr clear for streaming it did marginally better in that area it was mainly a tie and comes down to what you’re going for and personal preference

Misconception on your behalf and many others is thinking this shootout is about best overall TV. It isn’t, despite misleading title. This shootout is about most accurate TV. That’s what’s about.
