It's still crazy to me that there are people that haven't heard this masterpiece.

Another one they did that was even better than this one called "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday".

Boyz II Men are to the 90's are what The Temptations were to 60's. They brought R&B back big time in 90's!

You should definitely REACT to more BOYZ 2 Men SONGS like On Bended Knee, I'll Make Love To You, That's Why I Love You, and One Sweet Day

The members sing their solo parts in this order. Nate Morris started the song off. Then the blue shirt guy, as you called him, is Wanya Morris; and believe it or not he puts his heart into each song that exact same way. Next, is Shawn Stockman, followed by Wanya again. And last, is the bass Michael McCary. They set up their songs to emphasis how strong they are regardless of who is on solo. Back in the day, the joke was that it wasn't a Boys II Men song if Wanya didn't do his wiggle to get the notes out. But when all is said and done, those boys can sang.

You should react to "One Sweet Day". Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey collaboration. Its almost a vocal contest.

I absolutely love Home Free and for a cover, their version is good, but Boys II Men's original is unsurpassed. You can feel the emotion of the original in your gut and in your heart and in your soul. It still gives me goosebumps.

I promise Wanya slays every song he's on, not just this one. The man's tone is inimitable. There's a reason why he's the only one who enters twice in this pretty much every other Boyz II Men song there is. It's essentially their default framework. Give Wanya the mic as much as possible.

He's simply fuckin' incredible. He's legit one of the best male vocalists of all time. He's arguably the #1 male vocalist of his era and no less than Top 3. He's definitely one of the most slept on 90's singers, period. And when they did 'One Sweet Day' w/ Mariah, I remember telling my friends, before it actually dropped, that the project had the potential to reach a 'once-in-a-generation' level of success.

I was hyped af about it because I thought that putting Wanya on a track w/ Mariah potentially had an insane amount of explosive synergy. On paper, it seemed like that was a no-brainer because those two are arguably the #1 male and #1 female vocalist of their generation. And like Wanya before, Mariah is absolutely no less than Top 3 (w/ Whitney and Celine).

From a commercial perspective, it empirically exceeded those predictions because it reached an unprecedented level of success. It was #1 for 16 straight weeks, setting the record (at the time) for most consecutive weeks at #1 ever. And it's also fantastic song...but my fault. I digress.

I really just wanted to say that Wanya is super fuckin underrated and slept on.

Back when people had to care for their lyrics and had to have voices from heaven

You guys should try some Tevin Campbell and Jodeci. Awesome 90’s R and B. This was played at every dance or prom back in the 90’s. Love Boys to men.

The guy with the cane sings bass/baritone and you can hear him at the end when they’re singing a cappella. All 4 members sing and Boyz II Men can sing live without music (a cappella). They got their name from the New Edition song Boys to Men and were discovered by Michael Bivens of NE. Check out that song as well as How Can I Say Goodbye to Yesterday by Boyz II Men.

" I mean they taking turns" 🤣Boys to Men were a 4 part harmony singing group. It's only 3 of them now performing. The individual members haven't had much success outside of the group, so the group thing is their bread and butter. To me that A Cappella at the end always stands out. The song was written by Baby face is now their signature song, among many.

Correction, song was written by Babyface, L.A. Reid, and Daryl Simmons. Someone in the comments got it right before I did.
