The Beatles and The Beach Boys inspired each to a great extent. Brian Wilson heard the Beatles album Rubber Soul and was so blown away that the Beach Boys countered with the Album Pet Sounds which in turn influenced John and Paul to come up with Sgt Pepper. Their friendly rivalry gave the world some fantastic music which is still so relevant today

Another great song from this album is "Wouldn't It Be Nice." Some earlier hits that showcase their harmonies include "In My Room" and "Don't Worry Baby."

This came off of the Beach Boys Pet Sounds album, which inspired the Beatles to record St. Peppers.
