I will do against the grain here. By doing this, as opposed to regular frying, it will almost completely eliminate the splattering.

Cold water, when the water starts to boil.. Lower the heat.. wait for the water to evaporate.. reduce the heat.. continue to cook the bacon til crispy and brown... Tah Dahhh... Bacon! LOL

I soak it in water a few hours prior to frying. Prevents all the shit they add to it coming out my arse as hot liquid.
