Why do people ALWAYS forget that millions were more than happy to go along with him and they were all of them. They could have got rid of him with one little bullet - he could never ever ever have achieved what he did without the support of millions.

Insanity denotes they are unaware of what they are doing. He wasnt insane. He was fully aware what he was doing was atrocious.

An evil genus. He knew how to read and speak to a crowd. He's could feel the pulse of Germany at the time.

In my opinion he was a psychopath with narcissistic tendencies.

Psychopathy would've rendered itself visible earlier in life, insanity doesn't fit either as he knew what he was doing and the consequences of that.

I believe what we're looking at is just the very extreme hatred that is near inconceivable to most humans. Evil would be a good fit for the man.

He's evil because he's insane.
He's insane because he's evil.
Regardless of his state of being, he's still responsible for the death of millions.
Morality is irrelevant. The actions of the individual(s) are all that matter.

The two have never been mutually exclusive. I'd argue they almost always go together, making it a ridiculous question.

I think he was evil. Towards the end, he lost his mind, but in the mid to late 30s, he was fully lucid and knew exactly what he was doing. He wasn’t born that way, but shaped into it, but still evil.

The more people *notice*, the more they wonder if he was onto something. A very real shift is happening in the public consciousness.

Considering he likely had hysterical blindness during WWi, I would say that he probably had severe PTSD from the horrors he saw, which might have desensitized him to violence and killing.

True insanity began around ~1941/42 and progressed to peak insanity from winter 1944 - spring 1945.

We fought the wrong enemy in WW2. Stalin and the Soviets were 100x worse. Winners get to write the history.

Both, answer is some of both. He was a smart person, a psychopath, and his mental illness progressed as time went on, which actually favored the Allies at least.

When the holocaust started, the local Germans were in bread lines while the Jewish folks (1 percent of population) had on average 13 times more money then the local germans.

If that happens anywhere in history at anytime, the results may be similar
