What a lovely, graceful, intelligent woman. This is what young women today should be looking to as a strong woman. Not the snide, pseudo-strong women we have in Disney cartoons and various Hollywood movies. She is wonderful, God bless.

The only thing i respect about Dick Dawkins, is his remarkable resilience, everywhere you go on youtube he's constantly getting his butt handed to him, yet he keeps coming back for more, and has there ever been anyone worse at hiding the fact that he's getting owned in a conversation or debate? a deaf person who has the closed caption setting turned off, and has never learned to read lips, could watch thirty seconds of any Dick Dawkins interaction, and could easily tell he's getting owned. He never made full professor at Oxford, and hasn't done anything "scientific" in over thirty years. The only thing he excels in is hating God, and writing books catered to other people with the same unfortunate reasoning.

I watched this video in full. I was saddened by the way the woman treated Dr. Dawkins. She was very degrading towards him. She may have been defending the faith, but I don't think it for Dawkins joy, but to fuel her own pride.

As a Christian I wouldn't call this a "smackdown" their really talking in two different languages. Richard Dawkins speaks in evidence alone. He twists some of it but that doesn't matter, he doesn't hear the stuff she's saying.

Anyone who understands the ridiculous nature of this conversation would have enjoyed the irony here, and the cheeky backhand that went unnoticed by Wright from Dawkins.

I am a Christian and I would suggest that all of this doesn't matter. Evolution vs. Creationism, Old Earth vs. Young Earth, etc... really have no bearing on a persons salvation, which is the entire point of Jesus, The Bible and religion. Whether or not the Earth is 6 billion or 6 thousand years old makes zero difference as to God's plan for my life today, my own personal walk and journey to salvation through Christ.Now, I believe that these are questions that we should explore! It would be foolish to squander a gift from God like intellectual curiosity, especially if it results in a greater understanding of this wonderful and alive Universe that He has created or results in scientific achievements that ease the suffering of all, such as cheap energy, vaccines, cheaper (but more durable) materials to use in creating a better life for all mankind. Science should be a study and exploitation of facts; religion is a study of Truth.
