Today, he'll go through the process live, so you can see exactly how it works. The music streaming and photo download process on Plex reminds me of RealNetwork and Rhapsody of the early 2000's.

I was wondering about something, would I be able to take a YouTube music video and upload it on Plex, just in case a music file is deleted off of one of my playlists (for various reasons eg, video was privatized, pulled for copyright infringement, video not able to be shown in this country, etc)? I've lost about 15 - 20 songs since making my playlist 2 yrs ago.

Can I set up a plex server on my dell laptop and get it like I want it, and at a later date after I get a dedicated desktop strictly for plex and storage can I move the original set up to that desktop or will I have to rebuild it from scratch?
