How to use the 30K voice commands (or other Sena Bluetooth headset voice commands) while riding your motorcycle. Even use the voice dialer on your phone to change plans while riding.

Having two helmets one with latest Cardo bold and one with Sena 50s, the two are night and day, sorry to say but the cardo easy to install, but everything was so simple to set up and voice commands work EVERYTIME and completely hands free so to focus on the road, but the Sena 50s voice commands works 2 times out of ten, hey google works fine but the hey sena is very hit and miss, very disappointed, and to much stuffing around to get app set up. do like how sena has good speakers and wifi update cord, but will be using the cardo for voice commands as they work everytime. and yes everything updated and reset many times.

The voice commands in Sena 30K work so poorly that in practice it is completely useless. I say "Hello Sena" 30 times and it answers maybe 1 or 2 times, but most of the time not at all.

I have 30K with firmware v. 3.1.1.

I was not able to get voice commands to work when I bought the Sena 30K in 2019 at all. Then the season ended here in Norway. At season start in 2020 i updated all firmware. Still was not able to get the voice commands to work properly. Sometimes it would work but most often not. Then the 2020 season ended. Now in May 2021 we have started the 2021 MC season here in Norway and I have updated the Sena 30K with the latest firmware. Still not able to get the voice commands to function properly.

It works sometimes, and then other times - even if I say and do the exact same thing - it does not work. When stuff sometimes work and then sometimes (most often) not work at all even if you do the same thing in all situations ... that is the worst kind of error. Because then its impossible to figure out what the problem is.

I have tried to move the mic to different places. I have reset the 30K. I have tried different microphones. Nothing fixes the problem with the Sena 30K voice commands. Its completely useless.

When someone calls me on the phone - they can hear me good and clear and I can hear them. So there is no problem with the microphone.

Maybe Sena is listening to you all the time - as she says in this video - but Sena is almost never answering or reacting to your commands. So Sena 30K voice commands are still useless as of May 2021.

Have you found that the 30K intermittently does not respond to the "Hello Sena" voice command? Some days mine works and some days it decides to completely ignore me. Started happening after the 1.0.2 firmware. Haven’t tried 1.0.3 yet.

I assume this doesn't work with the 10S and after a recent update mine completely fails to recognise my voice. I have even tried changing people's entries on the iPhone to make them obviously different to anyone else, but the headset tries to call almost anyone BUT the number I'm trying.

The only problem with this model is no one tells you it is not compatible with Harley Davidson 2014 thru 2016. I just had to purchase the 20 k evo..model. how sad, I had to go back in technology instead of foward.

correction, I listen to my motorcycle stereo w/phone plugged into the head unit (pandora) but can I use my sena for phone calls only since has to be synced thru my phone

Hello Sena, I just got the sena SRL2 for the Shoei GT-Air 2. My problem is that every time when somebody hangs up the sound it makes is so extremely loud. How can I turn the sound down?! Please help!!!
