Headline...."Georgia Farmer Eaten by Melon Crazed Ducks". Your varietal ambitions are just breathtaking. Most of us around the country, north and south, will be resting on our oars after a challenging garden year. Not Young Travis though, who's trying to decide if he needs six or seven types of cabbage going into winter. Slow down, son, you're setting that bar pretty high.

Can’t wait for the next video so I can see if Travis buys a grocery store watermelon for the ducks 😂😂😂😂

Ducks know an easy mark when they see one.

I loved and laughed so hard at you feeding the ducks a watermelon. That sound of them eating it was great!

I'm not opposed to using synthetic fertilizer if needed but I cleaned out a cow barn this year and had the best garden that I've had in years thanks for another good show

watching how the ducks have you trained makes me laugh. Thank you! If you run out of watermelon, our ducks love Cheerios and frozen English peas and chopped up buggy fruit cut up about the size of peas from our fruit trees and cracked corn for treats.

You are fast becoming my favorite channel for all things gardening! Have you tried growing Sunshine variety of yellow watermelon? Johnny Seeds sells them. Compact vines and melons are excellent! Fast growers too. BTW--those ducks are hilarious!

You should try Alabama Blue Collards. They're more heat resistant than a lot of green collards and keep their sweetness longer in warmer months. Also, blue and purple leafed collards are becoming increasingly rare so it's good to get more people growing them. Last time I looked, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange still had them in stock.

😂😂😂😂. Love your ducks!! Mine discovered where the food came from and started pecking at the sliding glass doors and leaving poo on the concrete back porch. That brought the flies and a super hard scrub brush if not cleaned before it dried. 🥴. Learned a football player was swimming in my pond and gave him $20 to catch them so they could get new homes. Was worth every penny and more to watch him chase them through the pond, up the WV hillsides for about an hour. (I lived in a deep "holler")
Did you know ducks hide their heads in the growth and dirt, thinking you can't see them??!!
😂😂😂 😂

I love Kohlrabi, Lambs Lettuce (you gotta grow some, it has a slight nutty taste, is a German lettuce, also grown in France, keeps well even under snow) serve with oil, vinegar salt, pepper and diced onions, and Endive

Hey Travis, I've been growing collards for a couple of seasons now up here in SWPA zone 6b. They did really well this year and since I do cut and grow again I'm still harvesting a good bit. I like mine for breakfast wilted in some bacon grease with my runny eggs on top. Or with a dash of maple syrup, but that may be blasphemous down in your neck of the woods 😊

The ducks were hilarious! I like the YaYa carrot. Large yeilds, good taste and they grow well here.😊

I never liked turnips til I tried a hakurei turnip right out of a farmers row. You can eat it raw if you want. It was sweet and crunchy. Now I respect the turnip

My daughter grows collards in Nome Alaska. I send her seeds. They never get big because her growing season is so short but she uses the tiny leaves in salads.
