Arteries carry oxygenated blood in most cases, but the pulmonary artery actually carries un-oxygenated blood. A more accurate description for arteries is, carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body.

I caught that also Simon. The diaphragm should show lowering and flattening during inhalation. An egregious error coming from a reputable foundation such as this.

This is a very good video in many ways, but am I the only one to notice that the diaphragm is shown rising during inhalation when it actually flattens? And when the commentary says 'Watch the diaphragm relax to exhale' the animation doesn't show that at all!

If the blood is picking up oxygen from the alveoli, wouldn't those capillaries that pick up the O2 converge to become veins, since this oxygenated blood has to go back to the heart as part of the pulmonary circuit before it can be pumped by the heart to the rest of the body? So those are veins, not arteries. Right?
