My Fender Affinity has small frets, which I believe are the "narrow tall" ones, and the neck is directly against the wood. So comfortable to play! My USA Strat stays in its carrying case accumulating dust!

I have always liked Squier's.
Only bad one ive had was a Korean ply body with terrible contours. But the neck felt like an aged vintage piece.
Another Korea model was heavy, but looked & felt like,
a late 60's Fender.

If you can find the mid to late 80's 3-bolt neck ones... big score~ Fender Japan electronics, .great stuff!

I used to dislike Affinity models as i thought they were, a little off. Then, it seemed they were upping their game- 12 fret close-spaced dots, staggered holes in back plate... a bunch of things,
1-3/4" bodies, sweet necks...
Killer value. You can still get a dog, just gotta look closer, play the thing and you'll know.🎉

Bro I too have an Affinity Stratocaster... But my one has an Indian Laurel fretboard, and its race red in color.... And I have changed the pickups to vintera 50s vintage strat pickups....😊😊😊😊😊

I checked one out recently while I was in a music store, had I been looking to actually buy a guitar instead of picking up some strings and new picks..I would have bought it..very nice guitar.

Fret ends look great, are these stainless steel? They look so shiny they remind me of the ones on Eart guitars. I own an Affinity Strat, it was my first and also my first mod project. The build quality is pretty darn good!
