This set me back 50 years, when I was growing up in (cold war) West Germany, and loved to listen with my ham radio receiver. There was the "Woodpecker" radar covering entire bands with tock, tock, tock... And always these number stations with a robotic female voice on various frequencies: Sieben, Neuen, Fünnef, Zwo. Draij, Vierrr, Sieben, Acht.

Wow. The sound is so rich. I imagine it could give some deep texture to music, kind of the way you hear in Portishead. It automatically sounds like the recording is half a century old.

I had to have it… got it… havent used it… but i did visit a radiomuseum and they have shown me working real ones. Even a wax cylinder player. I don t know the word for it. Hainbach should do a wax video too :)
