14:20 I was using the random button and heard these unsettling voices at night and I couldn't understand what it was 😂 Eventually, I found out you have to click the metal part inside the right wheel. So it was activated when I hit the random function and it kinda freaked me out not knowing why it was showing up sometimes but not always 😂 This is indeed actual recordings left on the machine when he got it.

Oh it just sounds so good...! This plugin really put AudioThing on the map for me, and also Hainbach -- the guy they collaborated with to make it. I have tons of tape emulations but this one stands out as my favorite as far as the more extreme effects go. It also works in realtime with no latency (unlike IK Multimedia's tape plugins which have a lot of PDC delay unfortunately) -- but you can enable up to 16x oversampling which is great for a plugin with this much distortion/saturation. Anyhow, great review!

I love this thing!, really wacky unique take on the lofi/distorted/filter/dly vibe. Haven't found a use for it yet, but it definitely inspires. If someone wanted to create an old radio broadcast effect over program material, this is the one stop shop! ;:-)

Hey Mike. Cool you like this one. I bought it at once as it was released. As a sucker for vintage tape and delay emulations, this has been the most positive surprise for me 2020. I think it's the most unique and interesting plugin since a long time. Been following Hainbachs channel for a long time already. He was involved in the development with Audiothing. Cheers
